Some time ago, my allergist wrote me a prescription that contained 10 pills at a cost of $11/pill. After the pharmacist revealed the total cost, I nearly needed to visit the emergency room when I fell down and hit my head!
Medicines can be so expensive. But there are ways to dial back on the cost. See my prescription plan guide for tips.
Meanwhile, there's a new dispenser called the GlowCap that flashes and makes noises to remind you to take your medication at a certain time. The GlowCap is currently selling for $29 on Amazon.
