Consumer Action Center

Dedicated to empowering the consumer through advice, education and problem resolution, the Consumer Action Center is here for you Monday-Friday, 10am-7pm (Eastern). It's a FREE service provided by Clark and his staff of over 150 volunteers.

Clark Howard's Consumer Action Center held its annual continuing education seminar on March 23rd in the WSB cafeteria. The volunteers received helpful and new information from a panel of experts from the  FTC (Federal Trade Commission) and CredAbility (Consumer Credit Counseling Service) on credit, debt, foreclosures, short sales and how all of these things impact your credit scores and reports. This information is invaluable for CAC volunteers so they can provide expert guidance to consumers to resolve their own problems. Panel members and attendees agreed that this continuing education session was very worthwhile.
