Destination: Hawaiian Islands
About this photo: My husband and I were on the NCL Pride of America cruise when we took this picture, leaving from Kauai. We love the cruise and believe it’s the best way to explore the Hawaiian Islands. You wake up every morning in a beautiful new place, explore during the day and then back on the boat for dinner and entertainment. It's the perfect vacation!
Best deal found: The cruise!

Destination: Omaha Beach, Normandy France
About this photo: Visting the American Cemetery on this 65th anniversary of the Big Red One Invasion WWII Omaha Beach June 6, 1944. If ever proof were needed that we fought for a cause and not for conquest it could be found in these cemeteries. Here was our only conquest: All we asked...was enough soil in which to bury our gallant dead. General M. Clark, Chairman American Battle Monuments Comm.
Best deal found: Roissy Bus straight from CDG Airport Paris France to the Opera subway stop, 8.50 one way.

Destination: Page, AZ
About this photo:
Picture taken from the Navajo Bridge near Page, AZ.
Best deal found:
America the Beautiful pass purchased from the Navajo Bridge Visitor Center for $80. The pass is good for an entire year and saved us at least $15 in park and national monument admission costs. The pass can also be used instead of a Red Rock pass in Sedona.

Destination: Nassau, Bahamas
About this photo: This is the view from our room on Crystal Beach. We sat on that same beach and watched the most spectacular, 30 minute grand finale fireworks display we've ever seen! (Over a million dollars worth of them!)
Best deal found: Bus ride instead of cab ride to Atlantis and around the island ! Soooo much cheaper and much more scenic AND got to observe the locals as they went about their everday lives.

Destination: Halifax, Nova Scotia
About this photo: My family drove to New York City, hopped a ship and cruised to Halifax, Nova Scotia. While there, we took a day trip to Peggy's Cove which is a small fishing village nearby Halifax. Peggy's Cove is a very busy tourist stop and probably one of the most photographed areas in Canada. However, the beauty of the village was more than worth the trip.
Best deal found: The best deals were the cleanliness of Halifax, the friendly residents, and the excursion trips were very reasonable.
