Best deal found: I went to the 2008 Olympics and it was an unreal experience. I stayed at a "hutong" that was converted into a hostel. It cost about $26.00 USD a night plus the staff was friendly and very accomodating! The hostel offered a Great Wall tour that included transportation, breakfast, lunch, and entrance into the Grate Wall for about $47.00 USD! This is the Mutainyu section of the Great Wall.

Best deal found: No best deal, just awe that people are still shopping this way...this picture was taken in the Medina in Fez, Morocco and it's really a grocery store, shopping mall, etc. all rolled into one and if you lose your way, you may spend more time there then you really want to.
